More Sweetness Expected
One cannot prepare for summer too early, which is why the announcement of Caribe Kiss here on Parfumo came at just the right time. The fragrance pyramid fit in many parts and there was already a sharing. So perfect.
When the scent arrived here, I unfortunately had just caught COVID, but I had to spray it anyway. And I could smell it. The sillage is already quite good. But at the first moment of spraying, something urine-like hit my nose. Even now, I still don't like the first impression. I no longer associate it with urine. I don't know what it is, but it bothers me. Thankfully, it dissipates immediately, and on the skin, you can smell pineapple and coconut. Pineapple always gives a somewhat synthetic impression. That's not bad, but to be honest, I expected more Pina Colada, and I'm not getting that. The green mandarin (or is it mate?) ensures that the scent doesn't become as sweet as I expected, but rather remains quite fresh. I can't pick out tonka bean at all. I've never been to the Caribbean, but this scent does not convey the Caribbean feeling as I imagine it.

I've smelled this bready-sweet exotic fruit and tuberose type of thing before, and this isn't the best. Great brand, meh perfume.

Rotten kisses in drunkenness... Babe, keep your mouth shut, the coconut shard between your teeth is rotting - your dentist is waiting. Don't Mate my day.

A sweet, nice fruity scent, pineapple with coconut in the first minutes. Quickly transforms into a fresh floral fragrance, which unfortunately

Tropical storm of herbs.
I'm sitting by the sea, sipping mate and watching the rain pour onto my fruit plate. Genius.

Even as a shampoo or hair treatment, you'd be too much for me. Extremely synthetic, almost rotten fruit... whatever it is...

Not at all an artificial or overpoweringly sweet tropical scent. Nice progression. Still feels somewhat interchangeable.
