Dark Delight
Wow! This is a dark and mysterious fragrance. This is almost unisex and the praline note, thankfully isn't too much or too sweet. I can smell the carnation slightly humming in the background and that very dark base, which has strong similarities to a Caron fragrance. Yes, take vintage Magie Noire and mix in a smidge of Bellodgia and you would get this. Quite a surprising concept for a modern frag! I think this will be on heavy rotation this winter. Love it.

A Gentle Oriental for People Who Don't Usually Like Orientals....
First of all, I've never been a big fan of heavy, sweet oriental fragrances; they often take my breath away and sometimes even give me headaches. They often lack the lightness and bitterness that I personally love in scents. They push themselves to the forefront and scream "Hey, here I am!" - that's not for me. I prefer herbal, spicy, bitter, and also citrusy scents... but above all, I like them light-footed and unconventional. And I hate the cold, dark season, and most orientals are associated with autumn/winter for me because they are usually just too intense for 30 degrees and more in the shade. So now comes the big BUT... since winter here is already disgusting and way too long, one must indulge a bit in terms of fragrance, and that’s exactly what I spontaneously did these days. Angel Schlesser is a Spanish label that I like, and I thought to myself, you can't go wrong here. The ingredients sounded intriguing, and I noticed that no one mentioned "sweet" in the reviews, which is already a good sign since I generally don't like sweetness, not just in fragrances. Long story short, I treated myself to it blindly because I hoped it would make my January a bit nicer... since the sun and warmth are missing. I at least want to smell something on my skin that makes me crave "more." It arrived, I tried it immediately, and what can I say: absolutely amazing! Sorry for the crude expression, but that's exactly what shot through my mind. It is fruity and spicy on the first spray, soft and subtle; I smell my beloved bergamot, a lot of rose, and a hint of violet... it caresses my olfactory bulb in a very subtly noble way. The longer I sniff at my wrist, the spicier and more gripping the scent becomes; it gains more character and stability without being intrusive. It is not heavy and not oppressive, which I usually feel with many orientals; it sails along... light yet confident with a lot of character, grace, and verve. I perceive the clove and saffron, a wonderfully fine combination that packs a punch. I involuntarily envision a confident career woman in a chic black, very elegant pantsuit with a white high-neck blouse; she has style, and this fragrance underscores that in a very elegant way. The sillage is sufficient and pleasant. This scent has incredible grandezza, but it also flatters the wearer and gives her a certain elegance. I can hardly keep my nose off my skin now; I find this little fragrance from Spain absolutely genius. It takes a while for the patchouli, musk, and amber to round it all off very softly and agreeably; it always remains a bit bitter-floral but never childish, rather with a lot of style. It somehow invites you to cuddle on the couch because it radiates something sensually cozy without being kitschy or overly animalistic. Cuddling with a lot of style - that’s what I would call it! This will be my new favorite winter fragrance... although I can even imagine wearing it in spring. Just by then, the bottle will probably be empty again ;-) If you're not an outright oriental fan but enjoy floral-bitter-spicy scents with depth, you should definitely give this one a sniff; it could pay off. Additionally, it’s quite affordable.

Dance of the Devil in the Orient
Since I accidentally smelled Angel Schlesser OE II on a woman in the shopping mall, I have been enchanted by it. It is a strong oriental fragrance that is also suitable for young ladies, without coming across as arrogant or overly bold. It is strong, but it still has a fine line of sensuality, which gives it a lovely character, even though this aspect is only brief in the perfume. When you go out with it, you can hardly escape compliments. OE II and I work together like a vampire with the night. I like it very much, to say the least, I love it! A perfume that brings as much excitement as it does thrill. Different, simply.. and I find different good!

Everything started exactly two years ago. It was mid-January, and I was out with my family. While the others rummaged around in the stores, I was "just" at Müller to get something for myself. I was browsing through the store when a woman stood next to me. The young woman was dressed really well. Everything matched so beautifully, and she had such a pretty face - with dark, round eyes.. I believe her face will always stay in my memory. A fuller young lady, about mid-30s, wearing a beautiful silk blouse in fine shades of gray.

On her wrist, there was a chain in the shape of a cobra, which sparkled beautifully when she moved her well-groomed hands.. A small ball hung from the chain, swinging back and forth. A scent cloud that was very dominant and full of strong spices slowly but surely wafted over to me. I believe I caught a hint of fine saffron, beautifully layered with woods, although I am no expert and cannot catch everything or define all the fragrance notes. For me, it was simply a pleasant scent, intensely packed with beautiful spices. An oriental fragrance par excellence. Just as one imagines the Orient in their dreams. With cool nights, hot days, beautiful oases, thousands of spices, fine silk garments.. A scent that is very heavy and intense. I was immediately exhilarated, and my blood began to rush. I haven't smelled something so beautifully intense in ages, and certainly not like this!

It had something in it that makes you sit up and take notice. Something dark came to mind. It completely envelops you, I told myself. A true prelude of little devils wanting to win the favor of every woman. A dance of feelings and excitement. Little devils jumping around a fire, stirring up the scent from the oriental ground. I was already lost in some fantasies and was almost unconscious :D when the lady asked if she could pass. I, the chaotic one, was standing in the middle of the aisle and blocking the way. If someone had taken a picture of me there, the camera would have been drooling :D I was totally, excuse the expression, crazy for this scent. It drove me wild! I stepped aside, apologized, and sweetly asked which fragrance she was wearing.

She turned around and looked directly at me with her round eyes. Even the little devils would weaken at that. If I were to assign a scent to the demon in the novel, it would surely be this one. Just in the female version. A broad grin spread across her face.

- This is by Angel Schlesser. Oriental Edition, the second.

Angel Schlesser? Who on earth is Angel Schlesser? Never heard of him. I asked where she got it from, and she, very kindly, pulled out a notepad from her bag, tore off a piece of paper, and wrote it down for me. - Look it up on the internet. Hopefully, you will find it there. I thanked her. She slowly disappeared, taking with her that beautiful cloud full of spices and woods, while I also sensed something floral. Was that rose? My blood was bubbling again, and I was once more, even if only internally, drooling :D

My family had meanwhile sent me a text message and was waiting, almost angrily, outside Müller. - 'It always takes forever with you. What are you doing in that store all the time?' Typical. If they only knew what kind of scent experience I had. They would turn green with envy :D Ha!
At home, I set out to find the mentioned perfume and succeeded. It was ordered immediately. I could hardly wait for the day to wear it. When it finally arrived, the disillusionment. This is not it at all, I thought. It starts off a bit floral. For me, it carried an old-fashioned note, which somewhat dampened my euphoria.

Wait. After a short time, however, the euphoria returned. Something sweet spread, a delicate scent of flowers, (I detect rose and, if I'm not mistaken, also violet) and then this beautiful saffron note came through. Jackpot! I can't describe to you how exhilarated and happy I was. Over time, it became woodier, quite captivating. Could it be oud, I wondered? But as I said, I am no specialist in this area.

In short, OE II is a woody, floral, spicy oriental fragrance that is completely different from what I know of orientals. You can't find it anywhere at Müller or even in a perfumery; here, it is just like that. I don't know how it is in Germany. It is unique. It has something incredibly seductive about it, without wanting to suffocate anyone with its eroticism.

It clings to my skin for a long time and fills me with its notes, making me feel untouchable and so unique. I feel like Irini, who also described the perfume. I feel like a seductress. A queen - a cobra.

Oh, it is simply kneeling-worthy.

Demonically good!!

(Ps.: I only regret that I cannot filter everything out and am not an expert in the field of fragrance progression. Please don't be too harsh on me :) -so sweetly looking - )

Stunning
I ordered it blind, expecting a typical oriental scent.
Oriental Edition II is completely different, it is something special, it surprised me a lot..
It resembles Velvet Rose & Oud by Jo Malone.
But this one is much better!
The women who wear this fragrance are legends...unattainable and rare...

When I smell Oriental II, I see an opera singer juggling her high soprano voice like multifaceted diamonds in the air.

The dominant note comes from exquisite rose petals and oud, the resin of the agarwood tree, I perceive it very clearly, even though it is not listed among the fragrance notes. Agarwood holds a pure, healing, spiritual significance in the oriental cultural world.
This modern composition is rounded off by notes of patchouli and rose.

Edition II is a floral-spicy-woody fragrance with an oriental character.

The roses are ripe, deep red, heavily aromatic...with a hint of spice and praline...it is a rich scent.
Noble, very elegant for confident ladies who stand out from the crowd.
Expressive and long-lasting.

It is very interesting. It is a mystery to me.
On one hand, it is very bright at the beginning with its noble woody notes (hence the comparison with the soprano voice); on the other hand, the intense aroma of ripe roses, expensive spices, and sweet, delicious pralines follows immediately.

When I wear the fragrance, I feel like an experienced noble seductress from some mysterious time...
My new favorite, which I gladly recommend!

Similar to Montale Red Aoud. Praline, saffron, rose on amber-"oud". Overall, it's lighter than Montale.
Proven blend.

Powdery-smoky & slightly spicy notes of a dark red rose. Special, dark, deep & mystical. I feel really good with this scent.

Dark, deep scent of mysterious velvety roses refined with praline! Elegant, sweet, seductive. The best time for it is in autumn.

A plump rose with a floral entourage, slightly sweet, with a bit more spice leading into the refined base. I find it sexy.

An oriental fragrance as it should be, floral and with a lot of spice, my first thought: There's definitely Oud in it!

Dark rose, sweet praline, spicy saffron stand out, Oud is definitely present. Smells very Arabic, intense and rich. Related: Shaghaf Oud.

A fine rose-patchouli duet. Unfortunately quite strict at the start, but the dreamily beautiful base makes up for it, though only with a mini praline.

I smell a prominent rose and spices, but not with a big presence, rather softly. A successful softie.

A brilliant oriental bomb - well balanced between sweetness, spiciness, and cleverly placed floral notes in between. Amazingly good.
