And the end of the 19th century whispers softly...
...from times when novels such as "Anna Karenina", "Doctor Zhivago" or similar melancholy works could have been written. A homage to the slowly fading Tsarist era. Warm open fires in icy winters, the large rooms in the Kremlin - icons and pictures of the ancestors hang on the walls. The tsar's children play tag and, according to the tsarina, Rasputin is a hope for her sick son. Happiness and despair, power and powerlessness, cordiality and severity alternate in these days.
The scent seems to reflect a good part of this. The warmth of cinnamon is paired with the coolness of citrus fruits - lavender radiates a certain sublimity. Oriental influences and floral notes leave behind a subtle opulence. And it all adds up to a slightly nostalgic view of an era that will never return as it was.
A beautiful fragrance that combines dream sequences with real events to create a fascinating melange.
And not so easy to describe as to make it accessible to other "noses" purely through words. It is too unique for that....
