Bittersweet Aquatic
I felt so strongly about this perfume that I decided to review it. I love many perfumes, but this one sadly won’t be on that list. It was a blind buy, and I can only advise you to try it before you decide to purchase. I strongly disliked it, but we are all very different and it could be your cup of sea:). The bottle itself is very attractive and was well designed. The fragrance is another story. As a true Pisces, I love all things that are marine, so I thought this would be a hit. Not so! I would describe this scent as aquatic and fruity and citrusy. It does smell like the sea, but it is very bitter and possesses a sharp harsh quality. I could describe it as a mixture of lemony sharpness and lychee fruit. My husband said it reminded him of school. It literally smelled medicinal on my skin. All in all, I really wanted to love it, but could not! Don’t let this review discourage you from trying it, perhaps my chemistry really didn’t work with it. And the bottle is gorgeous.
