Sweaty fruity-floral

Really bad fruity floral with sweaty overtones. Artificial and sickly sweet. I'm reminded of an article I read about the actual cost of the "juice" itself and the components which add to the price we pay for a bottle of fragrance at the counter (the estimate was about 2 $ for the actual perfume). In the case of "La Vie de Bohème" the case is clear: This scent probably costs about 0,50 Euro to produce. Clearly the bottle is more expensive than the contents&packaging. For people whose eyes are better than their nose.

Development Artist! Or: From "Oh oh" to "Mmmh"...

During a shopping trip to the nearest big city, I stumbled upon this little gem. It was on sale for a few euros at a well-known clothing chain. I found the packaging absolutely adorable: bright purple with hearts and butterflies. I had never encountered any fragrances by Anna Sui before. To put it briefly: I just bought it!
Unpacking it at home, I came across a rose-shaped bottle with bright purple liquid inside. Atop it sat a golden rose with an opulent butterfly. Kitsch as kitsch can! But somehow quite cute (in the truest sense of the word).
When I sprayed it, my laughter quickly faded - it smelled so sweet!! Deluxe sugar shock!! I can't even describe the scent essences. Just floral at its finest. Somehow very average. Sighing, I placed the bottle back with its new friends (it would probably have a hard time - it stood out so remarkably kitschy from the crowd!). And I swore to myself once again never to buy a fragrance "blind" (yes, yes, until next time, of course!)...
About an hour later, I sniffed my wrist again and... was delighted!!! What had this little sweet sugar diva transformed into?! It smelled simply dreamy!! Round, harmonious, seductive. I distinctly smelled rose and warm vanilla, along with an undertone of sandalwood. And just a tiny splash of juicy, dark red berries.
By now, I really enjoy wearing "La vie de boheme." Even though it always takes some overcoming in the first few minutes. But no matter if on skin or clothing - every time I experience the wondrous transformation of this fragrance!! I like it! PS: I have only experienced something similar with my absolute favorite perfume (forever my number 1!!) Hypnotic Poison. That’s also a wonder of development...
