Crisp beach scent
This is quite an understated little fragrance. I quite like it, but at the same time its simplicity annoys me ever so slightly.
Rock Me! Summer of Love is a scent for those really hot days when you don't want anything too overwhelming. It's quite a watery scent with bergamot, freesia and water lily being the most prominent notes. It has an interesting soda water feel to it, which is both refreshing and plain, like the beverage itself.
Thankfully the peach doesn't overwhelm me, which is a huge relief seeming that peach and my skin chemistry do not match. I didn't pick up any hint of the geranium nor the rose, which is a shame seeming that these notes often add an extra dimension to certain fragrances.
Rock Me! Summer of Love really is subtle. It's fresh in a delightful sense of the word, yet for once in my life I'm going to say that perhaps there needed to be some element of sweetness in the composition to balance out the crispness.
The sillage stays very close to the skin, however the lasting power is not bad. I'm yet to test this fragrance during the Summer months, but for what it's worth, it makes me yearn for the sun and day-trips to the beach.
