Aromatic Black Tea
Originally introduced as "Thé" in EdP strength, the fragrance now called "Écume de Thé" as an EdT is another largely unknown gem from Comptoir Sud Pacifique - also unjustly overlooked!
"Écume de Thé" is not a smoky, heavy candidate like CdG's "Tea," but rather a subtle fragrance that starts with slightly citrusy and floral notes, gradually and calmly unfolding its central, quiet, dark aromatic tea accord before us, as if we were inhaling the scent of a dark orange-brown cup of tea, full and aromatic, not a bit bitter or harsh, but deep and very delicious.
A largely linear, very calm, pleasant, and appealing fragrance that conveys a sense of lightness, relaxation, and peace, ideal for watching the sun set on a warm summer evening from the porch. Highly recommended!
