About 4 months ago, I came across a sample of "Ishq Al Shuyukh Silver | Lattafa / لطافة" by chance and immediately fell in love without knowing the original. When the
1 Million Lucky celebrated its comeback on the official website about a month ago, I simply had to buy it without thinking twice. Last but not least, I recently heard positive things about "Mousuf | Ard Al Zaafaran / ارض الزعفران التجارية", so I bought it too.
Without going on at length, here is my subjective perception. The comparison.
None of them come close to the hazelnut creaminess of the opening of
1 Million Lucky. Later in the drydown, all three become quite similar. Especially the "Mousuf | Ard Al Zaafaran / ارض الزعفران التجارية" is very close to the original after about 1h. The "Ishq Al Shuyukh Silver | Lattafa / لطافة" still has its own note typical of lattafa, which makes it come across a little fresher.
Key point comparison:
1 Million Lucky best opening, best sillage, most beautiful bottle. If you can get it again for 88€/100ml, like I did, then it's a fair deal. My signature fragrance for spring/autumn
"Ishq Al Shuyukh Silver | Lattafa / لطافة" less creamy, more fresh in the drydown. Comparable durability, weaker sillage. Very good alternative if you like the twist. Can therefore also be worn well on warmer days.
"Mousuf | Ard Al Zaafaran / ارض الزعفران التجارية" has a hard opening, but comes closest to the original, the only problem is the durability of 3-4 hours. After that you have to re-spray or go full throttle at the spray head at the beginning. P/L of course unbeatable. A very good introduction to the fragrance DNA.
