Same as L'Etrog, but with some powderiness in the drydown
Following L'Etrog's DNA, we have another very fresh, very citrusy top notes. Middle notes are a little bit spicier due to the cardamom and floral due to the lavender and jasmine. This time I do get floral notes: lavender is the strongest one here. There's still that hint of rhubarb-like facet: green and spicy. Myrtle once again? Drydown is similar to L'Etrog with an added powdery facet due to the iris.
While L'Etrog was overall unisex with a masculine-leaning drydown, Acqua is definitely masculine-leaning from the top to bottom. I don't know if it's the fresh citrus, lavender and vetiver/patchouli drydown combo, but it screams very men to me. It's overall lovely and I wouldn't mind sniffing it on the shirt of my boyfriend, but it's just not for me. Still glad I was able to compare the two of them!
