I present to you the Queen: Orange blossom
If you hate orange blossom, don't comme close to this fragrance. Very strong orange blossom crushes the jasmine. It's partnered with a bright and fresh bergamot. Barely get any pomegrenate. The orange blossom is soapy and green, very similar to Orange Blossom (which has been discontinued). It starts to take an identity of its own when the middle notes come up. I start getting some powderiness from the iris and a very lovely, sweet and tempered honey note that adds dimension to the fragrance. In the drydown, I get the wood smoke with a hint of honey. Orange blossom is still present, but has receded a little bit. Things start to get warmer with the amber.
It's a very nice fragrance, but at 315$CAN for a full bottle, this is way too expensive for what it offers. Gold flakes and all add a cool / luxurious experience, but it doesn't do anything for the fragrance. I would've prefered a lower price point without the flakes and flare. There are other orange blossom fragrance that are just as good (if not better) than this one at a cheaper price point. If I had the money and no beloved orange blossom in my collection, I might have gone for a full bottle, but my 7 Virtues one does the job at a fraction of the price. If you can sample it, I do recommend you do. It's a very nice, clean fragrance with an air of sophistication about it.
