Tenderly

This scent is a piece of my heart and it make me come back to my 15 years and to the parties I usually did with my classmates and my best friends. So, I feel always a "Proustian" sensation everytime I smell it.
First, I smell a soft aldheidic note, but not at all similar to the one you can smell in a ladylike scent as Chanel n.5. All is made more powdery, as in a soft pink cloud.Only the bergamot gives a touch of "adult" bitterness . The tuberose at the heart is light and discrete, very feminin and the base is warm , although not so noticeable.The sillage is quite strong and at least my skin smells good and clean after a few hours.
If this perfume was a clothe, it could be a soft and rosé mohair pull, very cocooning.
The packaging and the bottle too are pastel, simple, but classy. The price for this moment of pink tenderness? affordable. Romantic girls of all ages, the Eighties never die. Try a little tenderness!

I am surprised that Arrogance is from 1982 - by its appearance, it could be much older.
It has a somewhat old-fashioned quality due to the strong aldehydes combined with hyacinth, and the rose deepens this impression.
This fragrance is not sweet despite the lily of the valley - no, it really doesn't throw itself at you.
Nevertheless, it fits perfectly with my second-hand clothing.
I found a 1940s dress, very simple, but with an old-fashioned rose sash that runs from the neckline to the hem.
Add black lace gloves and a red cigarette holder, ballet flats - and the film noir impression is perfect.
Not to forget a few spritzes of Arrogance, because on that evening you want to stand out.
My friend wears a stylish Marlene trousers suit and the same fragrance.
Off to the literary café "Tucholsky," which radiates a certain arrogance in its audience and ambiance.
You are among like-minded people and talk about culture and existentialist topics.
Here, Arrogance is in its element.
Distant and independent.
I don't need this every evening, but now and then it fills my senses.

Arrogance is a quirky fragrance - free according to the motto:

Two Souls

I can't decide whether I like this scent or not!
Is it perhaps unbalanced?

Still, I keep spraying it because I can't come to a reasonable conclusion.

On one hand, I recognize it as a Chypre, but on the other hand, it feels like a "pink" scent to me. Occasionally, a powdery-fresh boudoir breeze comes to the forefront; somehow I associate "Boudoir" by Westwood with "Arrogance," perhaps a bit fresher, more floral, and less spicy.

Then again, the Chypre notes take the lead, and an animalic note spoils the fragrance experience for me. I'm not really a "cat person," sorry... but here the cat won't leave me alone and keeps scratching me!

Arrogance is definitely an interesting scent that you can't decipher from just one test. It requires patience and perseverance; I could imagine liking it someday.

But at the moment, two hearts are beating in the bottle and in my chest.
It still needs time for me to make a decision and recognize the true soul of this perfume!

It was a nice addition, thank you dear Ola. Although it says hyacinth and lily of the valley and green and chypre, I find it more "floral" - a softie.
