Sweet citrus-floral

Orange, jasmine and patchouli. These are the three notes that seem to ride the citrus white floral wave of Andaleeb.
The opening is sharp- a very juicy and sweet mandarin orange note hyped up by distinct patchouli (not earthy, just sharp). Once the florals- a predominant jasmine and side-kick pink rose come into the picture, the patchouli dies down a bit and an orange-white floral combination sets in. On clothing this forms the dry down, while on skin a sandalwood note makes an appearance. If there is vetiver, I do not sense it.

Vetiverized citrus fruits and sandal patch blossoms

A memory of??? Whatever, nothing modern - more vintage. Maybe I'll find out, maybe I won't.
Anyway, it's an oriental-inspired, not too sweet "powder fragrance" that has beautiful floral notes alongside the freshness of the citrus fruits. Underneath, sandalwood, vetiver and patchouli have already made themselves ready, waiting in the depths for their full deployment. They do not emerge suddenly, but creep in quietly and stealthily. First a subtle hint, gradually intensifying to form a solid contrast to the other fragrances. Woody, earthy, somewhat powdery - long-lasting. There is no "rigidly defined fragrance pyramid to be sniffed. Everything interacts with everything else, penetrates each other and is almost tactile, but above all "alive"! Now it has matured well, when it was new I could recognize far fewer facets than now.

New favorite cheapie?

It all started with an additional addition from a dear souker here on Parfumo.
I was neither familiar with Andaleeb nor would I have found it particularly exciting based on the fragrance pyramid. But thank goodness our paths crossed anyway, because I would have missed out on a lot. You often have to be "forced" to be happy.

Now to the fragrance:
For me, the opening starts very intensely with a juicy/sweet, typically yellow pear. Something spicy is also flying around here. A variety of bright, spring-like blossoms and jasmine then make their entrance. The harmonious and slightly tart caramel note adds the necessary twist that creates a certain tension. Last but not least, sandalwood joins in and gives a hint of a delicate creaminess. The fragrance is very harmonious and balanced and definitely deserves more attention. Anyone who knows these little freshly baked tarts with caramelized pears and icing will love this fragrance.
For me, Andaleeb is primarily an everyday fragrance that is perfect for spring. Its extremely feminine bouquet makes the fragrance very feminine, beguiling and comforting for me. It is simply beautiful through and through! H/S also performs above average. I have the feeling that the fragrance lingers on me forever.

Andaleeb simply triggers pure joy in me.
