too fresh and too aquatic - somehow exaggerated
Well... it's fresh, you can't deny that. Atlantis starts off quite citrusy - bergamot, lemon and that sea salt feeling that almost smells like a breeze over a hotel pool. At first you think: yes, summer, cleanliness, kind of vacation. But then... something comes through that somehow doesn't quite sit right with me.
The blue hyacinth adds a floral touch that is a bit soapy - or rather: it becomes soapy. Musk and cedar try to ground the whole thing, which sounds good in theory - but in practice, it somehow doesn't mix well for me. It's the kind of scent that almost turns my stomach for a moment shortly after spraying. It's not extreme, but I noticed it clearly the first time: something in the composition doesn't agree with my skin or my nose. And unfortunately it doesn't really go away. The fragrance lasts forever!
Nevertheless: there are certainly people for whom the fragrance performs better. It could be something for fans of very fresh, aquatic fragrances - if you don't have any problems with the musk.
Conclusion: Only mediocre for me personally. Fresh, yes - wearable, maybe. But not a fragrance that makes me say: "I have to wear it again." And the little gag reflex was unfortunately not a one-off. It's a shame really, the concept sounded good.
