Sheikh Al Shyukh final edition in a better bottle

This is Sheikh Al Shyukh final edition in a better looking bottle.
Performance is amazingly good, sprayed on my hand like 6 pm, still can smell it 8 am in the morning.
Smells like YSL Y EDP but darker with Arabic twist.
Great Value for money.
Good as a gift.

Prince of Arabia

"Ameer Al Arab | Asdaaf" is the first "Arabian" perfume in my collection. The bottle was up for auction on Ebay some time ago, the starting price was very low, and so I decided to place a bid. Apparently, there wasn't much interest, and my offer was accepted.

The initial burst right after spraying is very green, herbal, and there's a hint of woodiness. Over the next few minutes, leathery accents are added to the fragrance.

After about half an hour, the scent shifts into a fresh-spicy territory. Pepper and saffron might be playing a role here.

From the third hour onward, the fragrance leans back towards the leathery side, but also introduces a bit of resin and a floral sweetness, without neglecting the fresh note.

After about four to five hours, "Ameer Al Arab | Asdaaf" has found its final direction with fresh, spicy, and green notes.

There is no fragrance pyramid provided here, but I found the following online:

Top notes: Jasmine, Honeysuckle
Heart notes: Lavender, Saffron, Pepper
Base notes: Mint, Cardamom, Basil

This doesn't completely align with my impressions, but it could certainly fit, as especially the green notes in the base do remind me of mint and basil.

Overall, "Ameer Al Arab | Asdaaf" doesn't quite match my idea of an oriental fragrance, but I do like it quite a bit. "Ameer Al Arab | Asdaaf" is for me a rather masculine scent that could mainly suit spring and autumn. The sillage is rather subtle, but the longevity is quite good at over 9 hours.

The bottle was actually the main reason I bid on this fragrance, and it looks really appealing in person. The handling is good, and the spray head is of reasonable quality.
