Delicate-elegant, green fig scent with a lot of warmth in the dry down
The fig leaf is beautifully fresh and green at the start, alongside gentle, not too sour citrus fruit, also rather greenish, the bergamot with a lot of peel, and the lemon still has half of its greenery attached. Invigorating and beneficial.

10-15 minutes in, a subtle floral note begins to spread, yellowish-green, creating a nice transition, the fig initially very discreet, more of a memory of one, dry, delicate, as if you might be smelling the outside of one that hasn’t opened yet.

30-45 minutes, the fig slowly becomes more present, but remains rather dry and slightly powdery, instead of juicy-fresh, daffodil and the first hints of delicate sandalwood make their presence known, everything very elegant and calm, almost cozy.

1-1.5h: Guaiac wood, amber, and musk also join in subtly (as with everything here), enhancing the coziness, adding a slight acidity that prevents it from becoming too sweet. I find it completely exaggerated to mention "ash" as a note; I don’t know where the ash is supposed to come from.

Like almost all from Chiello, except for the Ragus and the Hysteria, very elegant and beautifully composed, but a bit too soft-cozy for me after more than an hour. For seekers who are not bothered by this, or who are looking for such beautifully delicate scents, I can recommend it.
For me, it’s also relatively unisex, maybe 60:40 in favor of women, but I’ve had much more distinctly unisex scents.

Fig Fig?
"Maisia" by Gabriella Chieffo is a pleasant fig perfume - and that comes from someone who usually finds this fruit in scent form rather off-putting...

Thick and yet fluffy, if you let "Maisia" breathe for a few moments, it quickly reveals its delicious, green, and very juicy sides. Moist and cheerful. At the same time, very high-quality. A hint of ironing and musk flair, but mostly very natural and positively misty. Heavy and easy to wear. An unusual combo, but it works. Marble stone and fig break. Spray with light. Covers many facets of the fig and almost seductively shows them from their best sides. Meaty and never screechy. I still wouldn't buy it - but it can hold its own in my favor.

Bottle: beautifully stony
Sillage: discreet, never forgotten
Longevity: after 5 hours, it's all over

Conclusion: a delicate green fig scent that even converts haters of this genre. Quite dreamy.

Unexpectedly often - or skin scent in a different way
This scent on my wish list originated from my "fig phase," and although I had already discarded several other potential candidates, this one somehow stuck with me. During one of my recent sample orders, I thought to myself, "Oh, come on, at least it's one where you can also get samples outside of the forum, so let's add it to the sample order list."

My expectations were, to be honest, quite low. While I do like fig, as long as it isn't fruity and dripping with sweetness, my personal nemesis - sandalwood - is listed as a distinctly perceivable component here. However, if everything were to be experienced exactly in the order specified, it wouldn't be a chief scent. The few I know are so wonderfully blended that there is indeed a progression, but it is hardly dominated by specific notes. From the very beginning, it is a harmonious whole, if one likes the scents, everything is finely interwoven, and although somewhat dominant white florals (e.g., in 1,2,3 Stella!) are incorporated, they hardly set the tone, resonating subtly. Cynics claim this is the generic, familiar mush, I assert that this is also an art that needs to be accomplished.

So it is here too. I don't pick up much from the top note, as the heart note comes into play quite quickly. The daffodil drifts along a bit flowery, and my color association at this point - fitting for gorse and daffodil - is more yellow than green. Still, I think green fits too, just not fresh somehow. For about two hours, the scent lingers in a yellow matte floral mode, which I like less, and the green fig that occasionally flashes doesn’t save the whole thing. Almost, I had given up on this scent, "nice, yes, but somehow too flowery and not radiant enough," when the woody base sneaks in, which is a true revelation for me. I am surprised to notice that what is rising from my arm evokes a feeling of well-being in me that I initially can't place. For days, I ponder, test now and then, and ignore the nasty synthetic wood note that becomes prominent whenever I press my nose too hard against my arm. At some point, however, it clicks - to me, this musky, subtly spicy-woody base smells like a familiar person. Not unwashed, but also not freshly out of the shower, not sleepy, but well-rested, yet definitely still carrying the warmth of the bed, that unique blend of personal skin scent, grooming, laundry detergent, and shower gel. That’s why this scent doesn’t feel "human" at all, has no animalic quality; and yet it smells so familiar, somehow like a better version of oneself.

Given the sparse comments and the "nice" and "familiar" (in another context) remarks, my scent perception is indeed very personal and associative, and yet I felt the need to share it with you.

Rarely have I been so sure that I absolutely need to have a scent - fortunately, there was a leftover bottle in the souk : ).

Light veil of flowers, and something dangerous lurking underneath. The scent of a bright winter morning, or a white witch.

It's something different! Woody green, yet femininely soft & somehow spicy refreshing. I don't notice lemon, but tamed daffodil.

Sunny yellow powdery scent with green speckles. Juicy, more floral than figgy. In the dry down, bright + soft, woody + fluffy. A feel-good scent for spring/summer.

I haven't smelled such a beautiful "green" scent in a long time. And all this without marijuana, tomato leaves, and other strange notes. Lovely!

Reminds me of "Parisian Musc | Matière Première", but becomes greener, more robust, and not quite as creamy over time.

green-fresh, lightly tart fig with a hint of wood in the finish. Unobtrusive, not bothersome, somehow familiar, nice but not a must-have.
