"Al Rayhan - freshness meets floral elegance"
For me, Al Rayhan is a true masterpiece from the Attar Collection - lush, oriental and modern at the same time. The beginning is characterized by a strong green and citrusy note that is almost tangy, but never too bright. I immediately notice the freshness of lemon and possibly mint, although it doesn't go in a typical "sports fragrance" direction, but remains rather classy.

After a few minutes, the fragrance becomes noticeably more floral - I suspect that jasmine and white flowers merge with a creamy woody note. Al Rayhan seems like a luxurious garden at heart: green, soft, calming and yet multi-layered.

The base has a warm oriental character and contains ambergris and musk. I really appreciate the fact that the sweetness is only subtly present in the background - it never becomes sticky. The combination of freshness and depth makes it extremely wearable for me, even on warmer days.
Performance: The longevity is excellent - it easily lasts 8+ hours on my skin. The sillage is clearly noticeable at first, but becomes closer to the skin after about 2 hours.

Conclusion:
A very well-balanced niche fragrance with character, but without being overpowering. I can see Al Rayhan on both men and women - very unisex. For fans of green-floral, slightly oriental fragrances with a clear DNA, this is definitely worth a look.

This is what vacation smells like
The sun is setting, the sky is turning bright shades of orange, a breathtakingly beautiful woman is dancing to Latin music, the palm leaves cast shadows on her tanned, shiny body, which is reflected in the cocktail glasses at the bar. It's around 30 degrees, you can already see the stars shining through the sky, but it feels like it's getting hotter and hotter.

Beautiful scent! That's what summer smells like!
Really delicious mixture!
Exciting, sexy, spirited, warm.
If only it were a little less powdery in the base.
Silage unfortunately very weak.

The search for the right olfactory volume of good-mood DNA: Bal d'afrique vs Contralto vs Al Rayhan
I have been looking for the perfect good mood fragrance, mood lifter, cocktail Caribbean, Sunday stroll fragrance à la Bal d'afrique for a long time. I used it myself regularly for a long time and really liked the fragrance in and of itself, but the performance was not satisfactory for me. For me, it lacked the exuberant energy. That little bit of sunshine. I kept sniffing and thought I had found the long-awaited treasure in Contralto. A fragrance like a scream of joy, there is so much sunshine in this bottle (matching the color of the velour) and yet something prevented me from wearing it. It simply smelled too strong for me shortly after getting up, when my olfactory receptors are at their most sensitive, having just woken up from the odorless resting phase of sleep. I think it is ambroxan that acts as a catalyst here and allows the bal d'afrique formula to project properly. I recently read a statement that every perfume formula has its own olfactory projection optimum and that this good-mood fragrance is basically one of those with a quieter optimum. All good things come in threes. In fact, in Al Rayhan I have found the perfect middle ground (for me) between Bal d'afrique and Contralto. Which shows once again that the price of a perfume is not always congruent with individual tastes. As the saying goes, a lot helps a lot. The fragrance pyramid should not be misleading. I don't perceive the fragrance as artificially sweetened, but rather naturally sweetened with fruit, if that makes sense. I don't smell chocolates or sweets. Rather juicy, tangy fruits like pineapple and mango. I'm usually put off by too much candy store, as I think too often they try to cover up a lack of complexity and sophistication with a side of sweetness (it never works). I find it very exciting and it actually combines everything I was hoping for, namely Bal d'afrique without the vetiver and Contralto without the strong balsamic note. Maybe there are people out there who are also thinking about this fragrance DNA.

Oriental sister of Inekes Chemical Bonding
Yesterday I received almost 20 scent samples from several lovely perfumas, so I carefully sniffed my way through. I liked this one quite well on the first nose, which is why I applied it today. Oh, he doesn't have a comment yet? Well then that fits :)

After only a few minutes I was already thinking about how I knew this scent. This citric prelude, paired with the note of sweet teas, takes me back to my youth when I first sniff it. When I was 14 I was a group leader in a children's and youth home during the summer holidays. My first vacation job. And there was this sweetened tea all day. That's exactly how I perceive that note. And I know it from another scent, even though Al Rayhan doesn't list teen notes. The fragrance twin, which I had in my possession for a long time, comes back to me immediately: Chemical Bonding by Ineke is my first Ineke fragrance and at the same time my very first Freshie. Yes, sometimes I like these fresh, light scents, even if I tend to vanilla, smoke and pepper.

Al Rahyan, like Chemical Bonding, is quite synthetic, but not in an unpleasant way, but always remains flatteringly delicate. The fresh citric remains, but the blossoms and fruits bring some sweetness and the white musk finally ears the fragrance and makes it more powdery and pleasing. I sprayed it on this morning, but the citric notes are still very clearly perceptible. I can't smell jasmine and violets right now. And I don't notice a chocolate note either. The fragrance remains pleasantly citrus-fruity and slightly floral. The synthetic is quickly evaporated and with it the children's tea note.

I think it's very, very beautiful! I'm also already thinking about whether he could move in with me, because I haven't had chemical bonding for some time now. What disturbs me a bit is the season, because Al Rayhan is a summer scent, as it is written in the book. And now winter is just around the corner. Al Rayhan is reminiscent of fresh summer cocktails and spring blossoms. Maybe that's why my order finger is still calm at the moment. One you might want to dig up again in summer.

I also feel that it is absolutely suitable for the office and everyday use. Relatively very close, no suffocating Sillage. A delicate companion for every occasion, which does not get on anyone's nerves.

All in all a very beautiful fragrance that has definitely conquered my heart. Thanks to Melisse2 for the rehearsal. Because I would never have tested this fragrance
