A Crown of Osmanthus and Daffodils
...worn by the Queen of Sheeba. This is quite a cheerful creamy osmanthus. Yellow daffodils sway in the sunlight. Enter the Queen of Sheeba. Why is the bottle only black? Cheerful, floral fruity scent. Better sillage than GGGB from the house of Kilian. Daffodil, I usually don’t like, as I find the note somewhat bitter/harsh...not here. Osmanthus was last criticized by me through "Stellar Amber | Zara," too much spa, medical, sauna infusion associations...none of that is the case with this little masterpiece. Is it the interplay with jasmine...who knows. Tuberose does not resonate with me. A scent that starts almost innocently, sweetly fruity. But then it gains a honey nectar sweet depth. Wow. This particular fruity yet slightly bitter note like in the cult perfume Narcisse Eau de Toilette can be detected here just minimally, like a flashback to another decade, but also briefly reminds me of my rarity #Petit Attitüde Bee because of the honey (even though not listed!!). Conclusion, a scent that needs a few minutes to unfold, not something you smell on every corner.

Royal fragrance with a velvety structure
What a beautiful fragrance - created for the many mysterious queens among us. A velvety bouquet of ripe peaches/apricots greets us with a subtle, almost juicy sweetness. This is by no means gourmand but rather embodies a fully blossomed femininity (without age specification); then the delicate yet present flowers release their aroma, ultimately merging with cedarwood and vetiver. Here enters a grand, noble, and majestic scent into the room. Its wearer is surrounded by something exalted and is full of secrets. Her noble essence captivates us. This beautiful fragrance rests in its rightful bottle - black with gold - like the tower of a palace from which this being has emerged. I hardly need to mention it, but this perfume lasts a long time… 8 to 10 hours. It is never too much; this very beautiful femininity to spray is a compliment for every queen.
Price for 100 ml is 150 euros.
I believe this famous Queen of Sheba would have accepted this fragrant gift with awe and worn it with pride.
Absolute fragrance recommendation from me - bought again in Venlo at Lekker Ruiken - always worth a visit!

Elegant and Light at the Same Time
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=da057M9Zcxc

Can you hear her coming? The Queen of Sheba is arriving!

She brings with her noble cedarwood and a delicate bouquet of flowers from afar. Only the best for the wise King Solomon.

Finally, we have a floral fragrance that is not banal and arbitrary (see my recent statements on Si, Si Passione, and all the others).

Although there are no fruits present, a fruity impression arises with a slight acidity that gives it a subtle freshness, but there is also a light sweetness. I don’t know where this peachy touch comes from. Other fragrances claim to contain peach, and I smell more strawberry or fruit in general. There is no peach in this one, and yet I can smell it.

The overall impression is floral, fruity, sweet, and powdery. Elegant, yet also fresh.

Queen or Bad Girl?
I wanted to share my thoughts on Queen of Sheba earlier.
What always held me back was the fact that I found an incredible number of parallels with Good Girl Gone Bad but never compared them directly. Until today! The scent pyramids are similar, and I actually owe a review to the bad girl, as she has been my companion for years.
Now I have betrayed her and pay homage to the queen.
Before I write down the experience of my nose, I must say one thing in advance.
There will be a comparison between the two fragrances. I simply can't help it. I love them both. Please be kind.

The Queen of Sheba opens with very ripe peach and strong osmanthus. In GGGB, the peach is still too young but juicier.

The ripe peach lingers for quite a while until slowly and almost imperceptibly white flowers join in; I can't pinpoint them exactly, plus a slightly sweet-vanilla note, probably the tuberose that joins just before the end.
In GGGB, the floral play is more aggressive, dominating over the sweetness and staying on the same wavelength as the osmanthus.

Towards the end comes the vetiver. Notes of incense and wood blend wonderfully with peaches. After about 3 hours, there is no trace of the
flowers left.
In GGGB, the woodiness that one expects at the end is almost nonexistent in my perception, a hint of nothing. Peach and flowers give the wood no chance.
Sillage in GGGB is much more vibrant.
Longevity in GGG is better.

All in all, these are two fragrances that are siblings in mind and heart, but in the end, they take different paths.

Queen of Sheba is a great oriental, fruity-bitter, with a serious character that, in contrast to GGGB, does not go with jeans and sneakers.

Thank you for reading)

In the opening, the powdery combo peach + osmanthus. Then a beautiful tuberose, perfectly blended with some other floral notes and musk.

Vetiver drowns out all the floral notes. Daffodil doesn't show its pleasant side.

It's not bad, but it smells like deodorant to me. Powdery, floral, synthetic, kind of generic. Where's the beautiful daffodil?

It's something special! Green-floral-apricot sparkle on wet leaves after forest rain in April. Vetiver rules, jasmine & tuberose are subtle.

Flower gun that’s currently jammed.
But then a lush floral blast
- led by tuberose.
Adorned with cedar, wrapped in spices.

A mix of Good Girl Gone Bad and Issey Miyake Nectar Premier Fleurs. A real blockbuster for me.

A very nice Good Girl Gone Bad Perfume clone, but quite pricey! The bottle looks like it's from Tesori d'Oriente.
