My First Scent Experience....

My parents had taken me to an exhibition opening. I was about 10 years old. A visitor wore this perfume. Intense, sweetly spicy. I was enchanted and followed this woman. I had never experienced such intense fragrance savoring before. My mother was ashamed of me. It's not proper to sniff people....... anyway, I begged her to ask for me what perfume it was.... this longing.... finally she asked it for me and later I got it. Unfortunately, it is no longer available. I still have a small remnant of the eau de toilettes, but it has unfortunately tipped. I had no success on e-bay either. The late watered down ones I also own are only remotely similar. The only one still remotely present in my collection is the LÉau de Ivoire de Balmain.... to this day, it still won't let me go. I would love to have a perfumer who could recreate it again....

Then the "soap opera" appears, almost like expensive fine soap smelled back then, I remember "cappus" soap, which was only available in special drugstores, finely spicy, floral, foaming and almost as long on the skin as a good EdT.
Or "Roger & Gallet", I don't know which, but just as seductive in the fragrance.
And only then the "fund" of the fragrance, when the middle note is supplemented by a few fragrance building blocks. The marvellous moss, which with sandalwood enters a liasion dangerous for smell addicts, quiet smoke in the background, with "earthy" grasses, with fine bitter aftertaste.
And this soap moss vintage fits back in time, exactly, in the 2010s, time for "New Wave" and individuality.
