Oud which resides in the uncanny valley
I do like this...
It's almost like oud...it has a resinous quality to it. It has a warmth to it. It has a spicy feel.
It's beautiful, but missing something animalic, something that makes it...human for a lack of a better word. Something that makes it alive.
It feels a bit like oud, but hollow. The shell of an oud, minus its soul. Hauntingly beautiful.
I purchased the EDP disco set, and I think there are one or two other that feel a bit incomplete. I think this could be a beautiful layering tool.
