Like a more flowery, softer Dior Sauvage in mist form
Purchased at : Bath and Body Works
Price paid : Free
Format : 8 oz Cologne Mist
Picked this bottle up recently on a B&BW sale as a B3G3 thing. I sprayed a few of their new scents in the store to get an idea of what I wanted. I picked up two new scents - this one and the "My Signature".
The opening brings 2 very loud harsh notes : black pepper and Bounce dryer sheets.
It then calms down after a minute to meld those two aromas together adding slight grass, tanned leather, and lavender. There's not a whole lot of complexity to this one, but what it does, it does well. The whole thing is a play on Dior Sauvage, and I wouldn't call it as much a clone as I would more a tribute.
The sprayer is true to the name, giving off more of a chaotic burst of mist than any sort of directional spray. I honestly think this lasts about as long as any of their feminine body spray products, which means about an hour or so before death.
The sillage goes from moderate to very intimate in a 10 minute span.
Overall this is a great scent with as-expected performance, and is true to its name being a "cologne mist". Longevity-wise it's a step above most aerosol cans, and just below EDC.
I really do like the scent. Man. I may just seek out the EDT. It's like a softer Sauvage. It's actually a no-brainer if you like that kind of thing. Probably a safe blind buy if you're okay with cologne burst mists.
