A Beautiful, Engaging Whole
First, one can perceive a very intense and powerful, warming from within, slightly sweet aromatic note that smells of smooth black leather, accompanied by very delicate citrus-herb nuances, which in my opinion are responsible for the 'saffron' not appearing blunt or dull, but rather acquiring a pleasantly wearable, dynamic profile, thanks to the interplay with 'bergamot'.
In the background, there is a fine, sweet floral note that gives the top note a pleasant soft, almost velvety aura, which comes from 'neroli'.
A little later, the saffron is only minimally dimmed and thus still very noticeable; by the way, it is perceptible throughout the entire fragrance journey and gradually becomes a little calmer, merging with the already well-perceived hint from the beginning into a beautiful, engaging whole.
Very dense, somewhat reminiscent of powder puffs, sweet balsamic, almost resinous soft facets are now noticeable, caressed and simultaneously carried by a fine sweet-salty, quite gourmand note, which gives the fragrance an incredible weight, yet does not come across as overwhelming, and derives from 'cistus' and 'caramel'.
A considerately used fine almond-like, very subtly cherry-marzipan tinged nuance, which brings along delicate vanilla-creamy powdery threads, ensures a wonderful completion, and I suspected 'tonka bean' and 'heliotrope'.
In the last 4 hours, a gently appearing creamy, slightly woody note is enveloped by fine sweet-spicy tones, accompanied by a very delicate nuance that smells of dry, sweetly earthy notes, giving the fragrance a pleasant, serene conclusion, thanks to the interplay of 'sandalwood' with 'amber' and 'patchouli'.
Unfortunately, I could not perceive 'lavender', but I can very well imagine that this note was used for complementing.
"I wish all people in this world a Merry Christmas!"
Overall, the fragrance lasts 8 hours on my skin.
The sillage is designed to be distinctly noticeable at 1.5 meters for the first 30 minutes and at a clearly perceptible full arm's length for 3.5 hours, before it gradually minimizes until the fragrance fades away.
I would like to express my sincere thanks to our perfumer "Duftelinchen" for the decanting.
