Dull Flicker
I think Beyonce's fragrance has gotten a bad rap on this scent ... but not by much.

The top of Heat is fairly nice. Although it's sweet like any other celebrity scent, it's also different because it opens floral. The opening works nicely for me. However, the problem isn't the top. The problem is everything after that. Where is it?

Heat just goes away. Heat should have been called Dull Flicker.

Strong fruity gourmand
It seems to be that you'll either love this fragrance or hate it. Like most celebrity scents, Heat by Beyonce is somewhat generic, however pleasant.

Although vanilla is presented well in this fragrance, the fruity notes tend to dominate. The peach and orange notes tend to be very sugary and synthetic, slightly headache-inducing when over-applied.

I wouldn't say that this fragrance is particularly sexy or fiery as the name would suggest. It's one of those scents that wear well during the day or out at night without being too outstanding or offensive. I see many young girls liking this fragrance and being the most targeted consumers.

I wouldn't have minded a little less sweetness here and perhaps some hint of spiciness, which in my opinion would have improved this fragrance greatly.

Beyonce has a rather strong personality, a lot of sassyness and female power. I'm a little disappointed that her fragrance doesn't portray this. Heat, in my opinion, is too safe for me to wear.

Worse than "Nothing"
Cheap and tasteless. Some fruity top-notes vanishing after 2 min and giving way to some ultra-cheap low-quality vanilla-base with very muddled, grey undertones. No young girl should start her exploratiion of fragrances with such a bad perfume. It's a shame that the industry produces such incredibly primitive scents and seems to find costumers for this stuff.

Weak and Boring
With very weak sillage I still manage to smell a lot of vanilla. Heat starts spicy and turns very sweet.
The vanilla reminds me of the vanilla from my kitchen very boring.
I try to scrub it off, but it maintains a certain crispness 6+ hr later.

Clean sweet peach
Okay, perhaps I'm an outlier here, but this doesn't smell like "heat" or "sexy" to me. I get a sweet, fruity, fresh scent, like something that would be in the DKNY Delicious lineup. It's sweet peach through and through, but it's not entirely linear. I get a hint of some kind of fresher, crisp fruit like an apple or a pear. Midway and into the dry down I can pick up the musk and the smallest bit of wood. The amber is there but it's subtle enough that I wouldn't classify this as an entirely warm, cozy scent. I think the fresh quality makes this decent for year round, day or night. It lasts pretty well considering its price point, but the sillage isn't amazing. The extra notes bump this up a notch so that it doesn't smell quite like a cheap body spray, but it doesn't smell high end by any means. It's 100% very, very sweet and fruity though so if you don't like sweet and fruity, I would avoid this.

Overall, I quite like Heat but I did not have high hopes for it at all, so the bar was set low from the start. At first I thought it was mediocre and just meh, I had already marked it in my head to get tossed in the pile of sample testers to hand down to my mom for her to try out but throughout the day it really grew on me. I found myself getting whiffs of it here and there and thinking "what is that? it's so nice and clean" only to realize it was this fragrance. It vaguely reminds me of Clean Reserve's Skin, which also has a fresh, clean quality that I find soothing and comforting which might be why I really enjoy this.

First fruity sweet
Then the heat fades and a nightly dream of base emerges
Without sweat beads, but with sexiness
It's great

Ripe fruits with delicate blossoms, around which a kitten sneaks + licks the musk cream. Velvety + sensual - for hot nights.

Like in the documentary where wild animals indulge in fermented fruits: tipsy and amazed, I regret nothing, but once is enough.

Elegant dark fruit symphony, moderately sweet, neither sharp nor sugary. Sexy for the evening, HS bomb (10h long sillage). Fruit dream.

Fruity gourmand with peach melba! Good, but too sweet. Later it becomes lightly woody-floral with a hint of fruit ice. Cherry & orange in the finish.

Floral-fruity and very sweet. Peach harmonizes & is not overpowering. No development. Reminds me of hot summer evenings. Playfully sexy.

A lot of warmth for little money, fruity sweet, with peach, musk, tonka bean, a nice blend for everyday use or going to sleep....

for me, a mix of very dark fruits and - here comes the name into play - not fresh, but heated in red wine and Amaretto.

The scent smells really sexy and doesn’t come off as cheap. It’s not overpowering either, but H&S is pretty low on my list. Fades away after 2 minutes.
