Poor underrated fragrance! I like you!
Ahh, this is so underrated on here, I feel bad for it.
I bought a small bottle 6 years ago and have been trying to empty it for a while, and I got to admit that I have many better perfumes and rarely reach for this one. But in my opinion Midnight Heat is still in the upper third or quarter compared to other drugstore fragrances and certainly Beyonce's best release.

At first it's very fruity with a noticeable, but not overwhelming dose of patchouli. And the fruits have a green note to them - I can really pick out the starfruit, never would have thought that, and the plum smells like fresh, slighty unripe yellow plum pulp. The choice of fruits is refreshing and original, not as overused as berries or classic citrus and not cloyingly sweet.
Later the fragrance dries down to a warm blend of patch and amber with a hint of fruit clinging on to it, which is not exactly surprising for a typical 2010s fruitchouli.

All in all this a nice scent. It won't be confused with something high-end, but it's very pleasant. I use it mostly in summer, and contrary to the name, I find it perfectly daytime appropriate.

Dark Plum
Beyonce's fragrances tend to be rather fruity and sweet, and Midnight Heat is no exception. Prior to testing this fragrance I had fears that it would be very similar to Midnight Fantasy by Britney Spears. Thankfully this fragrance is less juicy and more of a spicy-sweet floral.

I would be more than happy to receive this fragrance as a gift. It sits nicely on the skin, slightly more subdued in regards to sillage than the original Heat. I find it perfect for all seasons, and particularly lovely on a warm Summer night.

Midnight Heat opens with a fruity and rich burst of plum and star fruit. I wasn't too thrilled with the top notes as I found them a little bland and predictable, however the heart and drydown are worth waiting around for.

Tulip is a relatively rare note in perfumery, however in Midnight Heat it smells heavenly, especially when blended with the sweet plum. Patchouli, amber and musk in the drydown gives this fragrance a warmer and spicier feel. I'm glad to see that many other reviewers are as much of a fan of the drydown as I am.

Although many appear to be disappointed by the longevity, I am not. It lasted on my skin for a good six or so hours. The sillage however, is fairly light, as I mentioned before.

I really like the packaging for this flanker. The purple bottle is an eye-catcher that I would happily display on my dresser at home. My prediction is that Midnight Heat will sell extremely well, especially over the Christmas period. It's a bit of a crowd-pleaser.

A different fruity floral
I was called to get this as I used HEAT and HEAT RUSH in the past and liked them. But midnight has special, and uncommon notes for being a celebrity fruity floral, so it intrigued me.

It is very fruity at first, sweet and tropical fruits but not overwhelming. They are very well mixed with patchouli and orchid, which stand out above the rest of the notes.

Very nice to wear, I think I prefer this one rather than the ones I had from the same collection.

Sugared fruity floral delight
Tested the original Heat at my local store as they were stocked up for Christmas. Heat was too fruity and sweet for my palate. Then I saw Midnight Heat and decided to buy it because it contained plum and patchouli notes. The packaging could be improved. The bottle is a bit difficult spray due to its shape, thus requiring two hands, one to hold the bottle. Or having to spray it on pulse points while resting the base on the counter, but being careful to not drop it. At first spray, this is also very sweet, reminding me of candied fruits. The sweetness lingers as the floral notes appear. Although amber and patchouli are base notes, I picked these up along with the plum from the initial spray. Floral notes are quite blended and the peony is quite subtle. Essentially this is a very sweet plum patchouli fruity floral with a bit of sandalwood appropriate for young women and women who are young at heart. In my opinion, this is a casual scent appropriate for evenings out and colder weather. In the heat of summer in blazing sun, this scent would be too cloying because of its sugary sweetness. Reminds me a bit of Escada fragrances due to its sweet fruity composition.

My purple Starflower!
What a wonderful surprise is in this bottle.
I blind bought it I have also from this series my first Heat Rush, this and Shimmering Heat.

No need to say much but when I see plum and patchouli I know that some sweet fruity darkness is in here and sexiness for sure!!

Really, really love it.
It is a mystery but light perfume and I can wear it any time of the day.

Ppl around me like it and I had my first 2 compliments today in a warm day.

Reminds me a lit of my other fav from Rihanna Reb'l fleur and yes they share plum and patchouli both em.

IDK how I began to be a fan of celebrity or let me say some celebrity perfumes but I find them very easy to wear when IDK what to wear, fruity which I love and happy that is the most important part of the life we are living and as a die hard to be happy with my issues I find celebrity fumes fantastic with their tacky bottles or not that bring another note in my life than my fav ever vintages.

I reccoment this one for girls at their 20+ wearing it at the first date.

ThaaanX again Beyonce.
