At Biehl's at Midnight
mb03 is a dark, spicy fragrance in which Mark Buxton has once again fully expressed his love for incense. It dominates the scent, energetically supported by pepper and a gentle leather note, and when I say "dark," I mean in a completely different way than, for example, "Noir de Noir" is dark: "mb03" is cool, angular, almost brittle. Whoever wears this fragrance, I imagine, wants to be untouchable: only admiration from afar is allowed, and if the world were to slide off one's back, "mb03" would be just the right olfactory message.
I am undecided whether I would acquire "mb03" again today - not because I don't like the scent, I do, but because it becomes extremely similar to Mark Buxton's "Around Midnight" on my skin, and I would prefer the latter due to the wonderfully cool jasmine.
