My new favorite fall perfume!

Ephemera is atmospheric with a touch of gourmand. The pumpkin, acorn, paper and black soil notes give it an earthiness that it’s perfectly balanced with the gourmand and cozy notes. It’s like a late afternoon in the middle of October and you are sitting outside on a picnic table carving a pumpkin while sipping on a sweet hazelnut latte while wearing a cozy cashmere sweater.

It’s not too earthy and not too sweet and completely cozy. Don’t be afraid of the pumpkin note (it’s not pumpkin pie at all) or the black soil (it’s not dirty). This is a smooth, soft, soothing, fall perfume that I can’t see anyone hating.

I would say same silage, longevity and vibe as English Major.

Atmospheric gourmand- beautiful like a dream

The name couldn't be more fitting- Ephemera. Smells like memory of autumns past. It starts with a burst of creamy pumpkin and vanilla sprinkled with brown sugar, but dries down to a warm vanilla and the smell of flipping through the pages of a well-loved book. It's so unique and cozy, literally the perfect fall fragrance. I WISH candle companies would do something like this for their fall scents, this should be the golden standard. I got a 50ml bottle but very well could be upgrading to a 100ml once this has gone. Which already has a decent dent in it after just a couple of weeks of owning it. Can't wait to wear this to go to the mountains with my partner this weekend to look at the fallen leaves!

Almost Magic

I'll start with my big negative: everything I like in this fragrance is unfortunately overwhelmed by a massive overdose of what I think is galaxolide. If you're not familiar with that material in isolation, I don't know if it will be noticeable. Alas, I can't really get past it.

The good bits: deep, deep under the thick layer of cool, oily musk, there is a fun and interesting take on pumpkin. I like that it's playing with the fresh, fruity aspects of pumpkin flesh. There's a lovely earthiness that brings it back from being a sweet freshie. The acorn note is detectable and realistic! It's warm, honeyed, and green.

There's a pretty fragrance in here! It's being smothered with a pillow by musks.

pumpkin cake

delicious pumpkin gourmand, like a rich pumpkin cake with cream cheese icing. still fresh and autumnal, brought down to earth (literally) with the black soil and acorns. nothing cloying or artificial, nor particularly spicy. with the faint cashmere and notebook paper, reminiscent of walking in a knit sweater through a fall forest towards a bakery, the pumpkin dessert awaiting you introduced first by the smell wafting through your scarf. the kind of scent leaving you going back for more, and spraying on your clothes to settle

Milky Pumpkin

Got a sample of this recently and was surprised at how fresh and 'pulpy' the pumpkin note was. To me it starts out really vibrant and green before softening into a sweeter pumpkin with the milk and musk as a backdrop. It feels like the comfort of sitting beneath a weighted blanket in late fall, which is what I did while wearing this lol. There's a nostalgia to it that I think might be the musk talking. Pretty!
