Rich and Beautiful, But Really Hey!
When you stroll along North Rodeo Drive, as I did in the late 80s, you will miss number 273 Fred Hayman, formerly Giorgio Beverly Hills. By the way, the filming location for Pretty Woman.
But at 420, you can still find the most beautiful "Italian Palazzo in all of Beverly Hills".

Bijan Pakzad, who passed away on April 16, 2011, at the age of 67, was undoubtedly one of the most flamboyant figures in the American design scene.
Notorious for his "design" of super sports cars like Bentley Azure, Ferrari 430, or Bugatti Veyron. Or for the gilding of a .38 Colt.
His design temple could only be visited by appointment, unlike Giorgio's, and he allowed only two clients per day.
Two financially strong clients, mind you!
These included and still include Vladimir Putin, Tom Cruise, Jay Leno, Usher, et al.
And a whole host of U.S. Presidents like Ronald "let's bomb Russia" Reagan, George and George Double U, Billy Boy, and even Barack!
And here we are at his fragrances, because Billy Boy is said to have worn Bijan for Men (urban legend) when he and Monica and the cigar, etc.
George W. Bush wore it too. Should this tell us something?
In any case, there were also Nude, Black, VIP, Style, Wicked, With a Twist, and DNA. For both ladies and gentlemen.
DNA had a beautiful flacon; Watson and Crick would have rejoiced, but the fragrance contained zero DNA. For that, there was the Ig Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1995!!!
