Cool and Round
I ordered this fragrance from an American retailer, as it seems to be unavailable in Germany. Surprise, surprise: It turns out to be a latecomer that resembles the popular Chypre scents from the 1990s like cK one, Paco, Azzarro Chrome, and Déclaration de Cartier. So do I have the hundredth tasteless cK knockoff in front of me?
No, not at all! (Bijan was certainly too confident as a couturier for that.) While I sometimes find cK one to be overpowering, Bijan strikes me as a very balanced and multifaceted fragrance. The floral heart note is complemented by a spicy component, which makes the overall effect appear more masculine. At the same time, this scent is more accessible and not as rough and brittle as Déclaration.
So for those who like this fragrance direction, I can recommend Wicked as by far the most office-friendly variant - serious and classic in this case is not boring at all!
