Notebook - Close it, leave it closed, forget it
The opening is citrusy-bitter and very harsh, almost off-putting. A moderate synthetic quality resonates.
But that was merely the prelude, similar to some perfumes whose beginnings are very alcoholic.
The actual scent comes across like a cheap perfume with an unpleasant synthetic note. A lot of floral elements and a cheap musk dominate - although the harsh musk is interesting in its own right. It is very intense. Stale citrus notes and a hint of woodiness come through. I waited a long time for the namesake theme of cashmere wood and honey, but I perceived none of it.
I am inclined to say that it is terrible stuff!
The packaging has a nice gimmick, a rubber band like in a notebook. Funny and playful.
Fans of overbearing musk, no matter how synthetic or cheap it seems, will have their fun here.
