Delicate and Subtle
"Mon Jardin" begins with a light, very fine floral blend, lovely yet slightly herbal, and also a bit citrusy, a successful composition. And a scent that I enjoy. For after the floral, not too sweet opening, there follows something slightly bitter and resinous. A delicate green is added to "Mon Jardin," as befits a garden. Furthermore, a powdery note follows, which, however, recedes into the background after a while. "Mon Jardin" then initially develops a tolerable jasmine note that eventually merges with the more present green scent into a light and pleasant tuberose fragrance. Musk and sandalwood may be present as fixatives, but I cannot identify them.
A feminine floral scent, not overwhelming, not oppressive. Everything is, for me, perfect for a subtle spring and summer fragrance. I find "Mon Jardin" overall very restrained, delicate, and fine, close to the skin.
