Anise - the first!
I admit that the "saltwater" in the fragrance pyramid caught my attention! What could that be: fish, seaweed, seawater? I was curious about what to expect. Well, fortunately, I wasn't hit by an old fish!
Shardana starts quite unusually, very herbal, essential oils hit me in the nose, a very strange hint of rubber makes me flinch for a moment until I realize that it's the combination of thyme and anise. The myrrh adds freshness with its bitterness, without resorting to the obligatory "freshness guarantee" lemon. Anise remains very present without becoming unpleasant, even though the herbs recede over the hours and the woods only subtly come more to the forefront.
The longevity isn't excessive, but that's probably quite intentional. The scent stays relatively close to the skin, making it absolutely suitable for the office.
For me, the fragrance is wearable daily for both men and women, preferably in the warmer season.
