Metal Blossoms
Infinite Acqua belongs to the Eau De Parfum Collection, initially composed of three pieces, including Aromatic Greens and Refined Woods, to which Amber Breeze has been added. I had the opportunity to test them as soon as they were launched. I was pleasantly surprised by the leap in the quality of the fragrances, which were less ordinary and more refined than in previous collections. The initial price was in the medium-low range of €30. I was waiting for a favourable opportunity to buy them all. And here, Notino offers free shipping and all three perfumes at around €20, so I jumped at the chance. It surprises me that the rating is somewhat unfavourable on this and other sites. I understand that not everyone likes perfume, but I find inappropriate negative comments that use derogatory or even offensive adjectives or say that the perfume smells terrible because it doesn't suit their taste.

Infinite aqua is classified as a floral aquatic, and I agree, it's like holidays by the coast. It unfolds with a burst of tart citrus, definitely lemon zest, as if you were taking a wedge of lemon zest and then twisting it close to the rim of the glass. Underneath, I get some fresh spicy facets reminiscent of clean green grass, like vetiver stripped of its smoky, dirty, earthy edges. Intertwined with these accords, a milky and mineral arrangement of figs emerges, closer to milk and the plant leaves. There is no sweetness from the juicy pulp of the fruits. The presence of a watery vein immediately transpires in the form of a light breeze that rises from the clear water. Strangely, I smell like Nivea cream for a while, which pleasantly surprises me.

In the heart, the floral aspect dominates the aquatic one, which I find very similar to the delicacy of dewdrops on water flowers. I don't perceive a marine or ocean aquatic; I don't feel the salty sea air on my skin, instead something more marshy and lagoon. Here we are not dealing with marine substances like algae, salt or driftwood but water lilies, lotus flowers, etc. Its aroma differs significantly from the Nautica Cologne or Megamare genre to lean towards the Truth Men Eau de Toilette genre without being a copy. Lavender is subtle and used in minimal doses, which makes the scent feel less like a cologne or fougére. There is a splash of masculine floral radiance.

The smell lands on a woody and musky base. Despite two crucial kinds of wood, cedar and sandalwood, the musky side prevails on the skin. Below remain the mineral notes of the fig, which, together with the watery ones of the flowers, give rise to a metallic accord, hence the metallic blossoms.

There is no doubt that the perfume is suitable for warm weather, late spring and midsummer. It is ideal both during the day for going to work or to laze around on vacation and in the evening when the heat subsides and a light, fresh breeze circulates in the air. Although it is an EDP, the performances are somewhat limited, let's say, discreet sillage and longevity. I recommend it to all lovers of delicate, airy, harmonious and light perfumes, which maintain that proper sense of intimacy without being arrogant or cheeky.

I'm basing my thoughts on a bottle I've owned since June 2023 (BC 2348).

Maybe my worst fragrance in terms of longevity. After 10' it disappears. The funny thing is that at the box it says "long lasting".

Not bad, quite unspectacular. Sea water, shower gel, sweetness, synthetic.
Good longevity. Interchangeable. Different from Beckham himself.

Pleasant, but nothing special. Smells aquatic and fresh, like a shower gel.
Great for the gym or casual wear.
Longevity is good.

Fresh, woody, aquatic, and a bit floral. As expected, it’s noticeably weaker than the others in the line (especially Aromatic Greens). Why?
