A name I will never say out loud
A complement getter, but a name I will be caught dead uttering out loud. A perfume I have renamed, "The Charlotte Tilbury Red One", to save everyone the embarrassment.

Heavy on the pepper and sandalwood upon opening, the scent goes on spicy with a crazy amount of projection. It is aggressive. It is assertive. It is unapologetic. As it settles into the skin, the leather, ambroxan, and musk create a beautiful mixture that sits close to the skin, but also creates a very pleasant scent aura that drifts as you move, but does not over power. The aggression upon opening shifts into more subtly sweet seduction.

As a hyperfemme presenting person, I tend to lean towards masc and unisex scents, with my preferred scent description being "a kind of dirty you can't stop smelling". The tension between the unexpected spice and leather, paired with hyperfemme visuals keeps things intriguing, and this frag delivers on just that.

Put shortly, this frag is a confident sophisticated staple hidden behind a juvenile name.

Highlight of The Collection
More Sex for me personally was the highlight of this collection. Just trialing the fragrance on my forearms, I received several compliments. It's not a "safe" choice and will not be everyone's favorite, as it's more elevated than designer but not so complex that they aren't wearable. The entire fragrance line gives more niche quality and a good stepping stone for anyone looking to escape the usual options.

More Sex is woody, spicy, sexy and mysterious with masculine appeal but the right woman can pull this off. I know some of you have! It is stated unisex after all. Not a super complicated fragrance. While there is leather present, More Sex smells absolutely nothing like Ombre Leather. So, I am on the opposing end of that opinion. Familiar? Yes, but not understanding the comparisons. The leather featured is on the dryer side and slightly animalic due to the aroma chemical Aldron. Animalic, not fecal. Let's get that out of the way before moving forward.

I originally purchased the travel spray, but decided I needed a full bottle of this scent. Especially considering Sephora made it available in one of the more recent Perfume Sampler sets. If you're not familiar with the Perfume/Cologne Samplers, they are a fixed price of $95 with anywhere from 6 to a dozen or more samples. Inside is a certificate that allows you to upgrade to a full-sized bottle at no additional cost. I would have eventually paid retail for this, but having paid $95 makes me feel a lot better about it.

The concentration and performance is actually perfect. Any more and some might complain about how harsh and intrusive the fragrance is. Any less and it would be overpriced for those of us expecting quality. It lingers long enough to get through a standard work shift, but if you're needing more out of this then a travel spray or decant will suffice if you wish to reapply. Although the title may have raised expectations a bit too high for this composition, great work from Anne Flipo.

Spicy leather sexiness
While I’m not a fan of the cringe-worthy name and ugly bottle, this fragrance actually isn’t bad. In fact, I really liked it upon initial sniff.

It’s a more unisex-leaning spicy fragrance. More specifically, a spicy and woodsy leather. Like if you took Tom Ford Ombré Leather and added some spices. Definitely a fall/winter scent, and sexy in an effortless “cool girl” kinda way.

While this is a scent profile that I think most of us in the “fragrance world” have smelled before, I think this is definitely an edgier choice for a mainstream designer brand to put out. I’m impressed.

More Sex
Leather, musk, and ambroxan, with just a hint of wood and spice. A bit dirty and animalic. Leans a little masculine, but perfectly wearable on a woman and even a little sexy (given its name and likely target audience, surely this is the point!) As others have said, there are similarities to Oud for Greatness. Not a dupe though.

This isn’t the kind of scent profile I usually go for, so it won’t be one I add to my collection. It’s interesting to see this from CT, though. If it had better longevity and projection it would be a great little frag.

Signature scent
You’re immature if the name really gets to you that badly. This is the most sensual gorgeous scent I’ve ever put my nose to and also the most complimented in my collection. I think the name suits it honestly and it’s been my signature scent ever I first sniffed it in Sephora. It’s perfect for romantic goth girls.

Cold cigarette smoke on red suspenders. Slightly worn. Dark room, red walls, indirect light. The act is already over, payment was made too.

An incredible scent between sweet, spicy & clean
Its name is far from smelling like the distance between earth & sky
