Tropical vanilla blast from the past

Léa starts out very sweet and powdery with a heavy focus on the almond (blossom) and a bright, sunny vanilla. It feels like almond flavored powdered sugar. Soon the ylang ylang steps in, and it's a fruity-leaning, very tropical feeling version of the note. A touch of citrus makes the fragrance sparkle and the benzoin in the base adds a lovely warmth.
All in all the fragrance feels fizzy and powdery, it reminds me a little of candy necklaces or other sweets with that texture.
The sugar shock of the opening can be a little much, but after that, Léa turns soft and pretty without losing its character.

This reminds me a lot of the first non-mainstream gourmand fragrances I tried in the 2000s. Even though I haven't tried it back then, I remember there was some talk about it online. I couldn't find any information about the year of release anywhere, but to me, Léa has a very 2000s nostalgic feel. It just fits right into that time.
