Nectar Queen of Summer Nights

A blind buy where I was very skeptical and during testing it didn't tear me apart. I used this fragrance on vacation. Completely changed my opinion, it is a dream. When sprayed, it seems very sweet and overpowering, coming from the Ylang Ylang note, but you have to give it time and then a beautiful vanilla coconut cream scent emerges. I used it in the evenings after the beach. Absolute recommendation for summer.

What is nectar to one is poison to another

Misleading headline: This fragrance is not poison to me. I can say upfront, though, that I find it somewhat lacking in depth.
I only have a sample, but I find the bottle beautiful. My sample has since turned purple (which doesn't change the scent) with small gold particles - so that looks great too - a bit like that glitter water in children's toy magic wands... with little glitter stars floating in it.
The Ylang Ylang definitely takes center stage for me, and in a very pleasant way.
The top note gives it a certain freshness, so it doesn't become too sticky. The base makes it creamy and cozy. The coconut doesn't come across as too gourmand, but rather gives me a 90s sunscreen vibe.
On gray spring days, I like to wear it layered with Amouage Sunshine. It may sound wild, but I think the combo is great.
However, one sample is enough for me, as we don't have that many gray spring days spread throughout the year, and to wear it alone, it somehow feels not rounded enough. It has a somewhat old-fashioned quality that I can't quite describe. I would say nostalgic-tropical. Caribbean vacation in the 90s.
And since my perfumes are all stored in a light-protected, cool wardrobe, I couldn't even admire the bottle and its beautiful purple glitter content.
The longevity is quite good for me, about 6 hours. After that, Amouage takes over the reins on its own.

The Magic That Should Never End

Golden magic like in a fairy tale.
Just recently, I was once again in search of something "different." By chance, I stumbled upon a perfume shop and thought to myself; yes, it was meant to be. Without much ado, I sniffed through no joke 20 fragrances and had almost given up hope. But then I saw Ylang in Gold Nectar and thought I’d just give it a try. Luckily!! Upon spraying, I fell in love with the vanilla and coconut notes; a new favorite scent in my collection. A very beautifully creamy fragrance. Highly recommended.

For my nose, it has almost identical similarities to the original Ylang in Gold.
But it radiates better,
