Truly sophisticated and highly recommended.
I was looking for a male fragrance that is special, complex, and balanced. This is the first time I bought an EDP in this price range, and for me it is the best fragrance by far at an entire new level. When I received my order from NM I was in awe! The presentation of Oud Fumé is exquisite. The cloth covered box with pink pepper scent is an experience by itself. It reminds me of opening a brand new classic book in my study. This truly suits the "urban sophisticated" man as Sylvie Chantecaille puts it. What about the fragrance itself? It can be compared with usually going to a good restaurant with nice, strong yet direct flavors, and then one day taste a 3-star Master-chef signature dish with a complex, subtle, yet balanced taste. This fragrance is like that and absolutely true to the description. It is warm, woody, smokey and a little sweet. I would only add that it is truly sophisticated: subtle, complex, yet perfectly balanced, like all good design.
