In Summer Bliss
I find the Aqua de Colonia series by Claus Porto quite successful. The name says it all - these are the light, unobtrusive waters for summer, sun, and beach walks. Nevertheless, they do have a good longevity (lasting 7-8 hours in the hair) and even a bit of radiance.
Some time ago, I tested the range but didn't buy anything at that time, as with my "perfume-eating" skin, I fundamentally prefer Eau de Parfum concentrations. However, "Oriental Bloom" stuck in my memory. Now I saw the waters heavily discounted and purchased "Oriental Bloom".
What can I say? "Oriental Bloom" is a beautiful jasmine scent for me. Hardly oriental. Very feminine, very floral, hardly sweet (it's more of a natural nectar sweetness), even slightly herbaceous. The herbaceous note probably comes from the vetiver: right from the start, I smell the scent of freshly dried meadow flowers or colorful autumn maple leaves that you find between the pages of a book (to say hay wouldn't be entirely accurate).
Jasmine flowers and hay/dried flower nuance - these two notes make this fragrance for me. The scent feels light and romantic, it calls for sun and air. Moreover, it is a compliment magnet.
A very successful, pleasant, likable Eau de Colonia that I will certainly use more often in spring and summer.
