Bonjour Mon Cheri
Alto Mar! What an experience.
First of all, I want to say that I am a big fan of absinthe and also enjoy fragrances that incorporate it, but let's get started.
Alto Mar is something special in its presentation with a unique spraying technique. The splash bottle comes in a classic transparent design with a small ball pump, which is beautifully crafted. Spraying is not easy and a bit awkward, but the nostalgic feeling is all the more beautiful and gives the fragrance a delicate magic of the past.
Alto Mar smells incredibly delicious. Green and rough, minty fresh with a hint of rosemary and woods. Unfortunately, the absinthe only comes through very subtly. This is quite a shame as the scent is truly lovely.
It has such charming sailor associations, blue sea and strong sea air.
I can also imagine this fragrance well in the women's world, provided Mademoiselle is looking for something special with a bite.
In comparison to Rammstein Paris, this one has significantly more absinthe, but it also doesn't last particularly long. Perhaps absinthe is too fleeting. So, anyone looking for an adventure should embrace Alto Mar, even though this fragrance is quite expensive in relation to its performance.
Blind buy
