Everyone says it’s a Paradise Garden clone…
… but it’s very different.

Be aware of that.

If you want a clone of PG, this won’t cut it.

If you want a great scent that holds its own, then look here.

I can understand WHY they say it’s a clone, and maybe there are some “similarities” but it is far off the mark if you want something to be IDENTICAL.

Great longevity, room filling radius, and a great price. That’s what you get. If you want LE Beau PG, though? Buy PG.

The cold hard truth.

Great Alternative to Paradise Garden
Continuing with the Hawas line, which escalated a bit in 2025 with the releases. It’s already a series where many dupes of popular releases are appearing lately. Of course, this line doesn’t have much to do with the very popular Hawas for Him original, except for the bottle and the name. But this line is gaining traction and is currently the only new line from this brand that is bringing in decent revenue. Otherwise, the older releases are doing quite well, as they already offer an alternative to many well-known fragrances. Behind this Hawas Tropical lies an alternative to Le Beau Paradise Garden. Not a 1:1 match, but when you spray this scent, it immediately brings that fragrance to mind. The release from JPG was not something I wanted to wear, even though the DNA had good elements. I would even prefer this Hawas Tropical to the more expensive "original," as the creation feels a bit more harmonious and rounded. Overall, there is a good chance that if you didn’t like Paradise Garden, you won’t like this one either.

In terms of price, this fragrance is available for about €30, with a recommended retail price of €40 for the 100ml. The glass has a lovely greenish-exotic color that fits well with the title. Otherwise, everything is as usual with this line, which offers good value for money.
As I said, I’m not the biggest fan of this DNA direction of Paradise Garden, but among the masses, this DNA will surely resonate. The DNA is quite bold and loud, especially for a fragrance in the fresher category. The scent lives up to its name, which also has its own vibes. I find the coconut note cool, combined with fresh coconut water. Fig is also present here, including a green fig leaf. Fresh mint adds to it, while ginger gives the fragrance a light, uncomplicated spiciness. The scent is relatively synthetic, and you won’t get an authentic tropical fragrance, yet it still falls within a likable range. Of course, the DNA clearly leans towards the designer direction and is far from any niche DNAs; the quality is also at a designer level. The base relaxes this tropical opening with a softer, pleasant base of soft musk, sweet-creamy tonka note, and sandalwood, which always rounds off exotic releases in a soft way. Overall, a great fragrance that will find its followers, just like Paradise Garden.
Performance is really good with a minimum of 8 hours of longevity and a truly strong sillage in the first hours that is hard to avoid. For everyday wear, including work, it might be a bit too penetrating; in leisure time, it’s a versatile fragrance.

Overall, a great alternative if you’re looking for an alternative to Paradise Garden. As mentioned, not a 1:1 "clone," but it does feel inspired by this fragrance. I can recommend it just like everything from this Hawas line so far.

Coconut
Very pleasant scent.
I find it comes 90% close to Jean Paul Gaultier Le Beau.
So almost 1:1.
If you are looking for a coconut scent, you are exactly right here.
For me, an incredibly good vacation fragrance.
Pina Colada vibe.
The bottle looks good.
Longevity is similar to LE BEAU, around 8 hours.
For me, a summer fragrance.

Very identical JPG Paradise garden clone. Minor differences, but can only be picked up when side by side.

Enjoy a lightly spiced delicious Pina Colada with a mint kick at Tropical Beach. The name says it all. Absolutely tasty no-brainer.

Yes, well done and close to the inspiration, but that constant presence of Arabic sweetness really hits me in the gut.
