An Ocean of Gold
Before I turn my attention to the gemstone series from Cuarzo the Circle (Quartz - the Circle), I have taken on the last gold dust fragrance.
After Just Gold and Just White Gold being very soft scents, I sprayed generously with Sea Gold right away. However, this fragrance actually calls for a more restrained application.
The opening is so fruity delicious and hardly sweet. The sweetness only comes with the flowers. Even before I looked at the pyramid, I exclaimed loudly: "Lily of the Valley, there are lilies of the valley in this." My husband chuckled and said he could only smell some flowers.
The heart note of white flowers, definitely including lily of the valley, is already accompanied here by patchouli, giving the fragrance an oriental touch and a certain sweetness. If "man" is not afraid of that, the scent is certainly wearable for both genders.
Like the other fragrances in the CTC series, Sea Gold also has fantastic longevity. The sillage is quite good to very good, as is typical for an oriental. The projection reaches a fairly decent size.
When I started with the "Gold" fragrances, I thought to myself, "Why so many different gold scents, there can hardly be any differences."
But Ramón Béjar has taught me otherwise. He knows how to play with fragrance components so that each time a completely new scent emerges. Each of these gold fragrances has its own face, its own imprint.
The bottle here is a lying bottle, also filled with gold dust and three diamonds, very consistent with the concept of Cuarzo the Circle.
Sea Gold will not make it onto my wish list, as it is a little too loud for me. However, girls and boys who prefer something bolder are likely to enjoy this gold piece.
