Explosion of the Senses
Raspberries and strawberries and peaches and raspberries and black currants and honey melons and raspberries and sparkling champagne!
That's how I would describe the top note of "Rainbow Gems." I love fruits and always look forward to summer when they are fresh again. Especially raspberries and strawberries have captured my heart.
In the Czech school, all students were tasked as pioneers to collect, dry, and submit medicinal plants and wild herbs. I ended up with raspberry leaves - just perfect for me. It was all about the young leaves that were still bright and soft. They had to be picked and dried. For weeks, my hands and our attic smelled of raspberry leaves. They had the fine scent of raspberries and that sweet, soft, bright green. Wonderful. After drying, I filled them into a jute bag and submitted them at school - and I was already looking forward to the fruits, as I knew where many grew in the forest.
Rainbow Gems brings those moments back to me. This is not the cheesy, synthetic fruitiness of mainstream fragrances; here, very noble essences are used that create this wonderful effect. Only after over an hour do the flowers join in, without overshadowing this fruity note. They blend in softly into the overall artwork, and it lasts and lasts and lasts and...
As with most Cuarzo the Circle fragrances, the base note here serves more as a supporting function rather than having its own scent task.
This fragrance is truly an explosion of the senses! I can't help but smile when I smell it.
In the bottle, there are at least 3ct. of colored gemstones and, of course, three diamonds.
A little sweet story on the side: I texted my husband yesterday to please bring me a small bag of soil. I had just potted a plant, and there wasn't enough soil. My darling brought me a bag of (frozen) raspberries. Somehow, soil triggered the impulse for raspberries in him *lol*, even though he doesn't eat raspberries at all.
With this fragrance, my wish list just got one scent bigger... Where will this lead to!
