Quetzaly | Surprisingly Unique
I have been wearing Quetzaly for quiet few days now I can tell you that this scent is a winner to me.
Coming back to how “Quetzaly” smells? It’s smells different with it’s character of its own. It was love at first spray for me. Here is why:
Top notes listed in the fragrance are Lime, Avocado & Chilli pepper. How unique is that. It definitely has this creamy almost spicy opening (First, I thought it was cardamom but it’s basically chilli mixed with Avocado smell) very nice and comforting.
The first spray definitely is loud (in a good way). The spiciness stays for a long time on the skin and with time, the scent definitely get’s darker and even more creamier.
Quetzaly has incense in the middle that gives scent it’s character along with Dhalia (which I haven’t smelled before in perfumes but apparently its a plant from Mexico. In addition, it also contains Copal which is a kind of resin. So the darkness comes from both Incense and copal.
Dry down is also as beautiful as the top and the mid. It has Cedar, sandalwood and musk in the base. All the three complement the scent so well. ????
???? To summarise, if you are looking for something different (not challenging) that will really have you smelling like no one, I would definitely recommend you sampling Quetzaly once!
