overlooked crowdpleaser
A mixture of dark, smoky, spicy... but this is offset by a minimal floral note and also something sweet and freshly citrusy. No cowshed or cheese stall oud here. To be honest, I don't smell any oud, but I'm not an expert either - I find it rather slightly woody.
The "freshness" makes this fragrance special in my opinion, as otherwise combinations of oud, leather and incense quickly come across as dark, dry, dull and old.
It doesn't offend in any way and nobody runs away even if you spray too much. It loses its great "citric" note after an hour, but the spicy "mysterious" note remains. I think you can wear it at any time of year, but I really don't see it on women.
The only negative point is that it has nothing really "particularly" striking about it and no dominant oud note. I can live with that, I find it well balanced.
