This fragrance opens up with a medicinal, leathery and pungent Oud. As it starts to dry on, cumin and incense notes slowly emerge. The violet sweetness only shows as it settles right in with the amber notes. Complex scent and unisex, it has an extraordinary sillage and longevity

overlooked crowd-pleaser

A blend of dark, smoky, spicy... but contrasted by a minimal floral note and also something sweet, fresh citrusy. No barn or cheese sandwich oud here. Honestly, I don't smell any oud at all, but I'm not an expert - I find it rather lightly woody.

The "freshness" makes this scent special in my opinion, as otherwise combinations of oud, leather, and incense quickly come off as dark, dry, dreary, and old.

It doesn't offend in any way, and even with one spray too many, no one runs away. The lovely "citrusy" note fades after about an hour, but the spicy "mysterious" aspect remains. I think you can wear it in any season, but I really don't see it on women.

As the only negative point, one could mention that it doesn't have anything really "special" or striking about it and lacks a dominant oud note. I can live with that; I find it well-balanced.

The Little Summer Black Dress

Oud in homeopathic doses, for me rather a citrus-floral summer variant of Tom Ford's “Noir” - also with a kinship, in its dusty/powdery floral quality, to “Geranium” by Boclet.
Not an absolute favorite, but I can easily imagine it as a casual companion in late spring or summer when nothing else comes to mind. Just like I handle “Noir” in winter.

Underrated !!! Summer Dream!

Hello fragrance friends,

By chance, I received a sample of this amazing scent. I’ll say this much... It was inhaled within 2 days.

I immediately smell a light oud note, followed by a slightly sweet scent accompanied by a hint of incense. At the end of the day, a sweet leathery note remained on my arm, accompanied by woody tones.

In my opinion, the composition is a dream. It is never overpowering.
Nevertheless, the sillage and longevity is a solid 8.

As for the fragrance, I can only say this... I will be adding it to my collection soon and placing it in my top 5.
