Pomelo and a Green Touch. Does the Combination Work? Yes.
Tangy Caper is a great fragrance, especially for the warm days of the year. In summer, it will probably shine!
The combination of the citrus fruit pomelo and the green touch, for example from mint, works really well.
Admittedly, this scent doesn't blow me away, but that doesn't mean it's not good. It's really nice, and it's very wearable, plus it gets a good reception from others.
Tangy Caper opens with the citrus facet from the pomelo fruit, as well as a generally green touch. Of course, the "green" also comes a bit from the mint, but somehow it feels like there are other green notes in general.
I wouldn't categorize the mint as "sharp" at all. It doesn't have that typical peppermint character, but rather a milder kind of mint.
Over time, it even becomes a bit "fruitier" for me, and I actually have the feeling of smelling a bit of fennel.
Fennel might be off-putting, but it's super well dosed and fits with the rest of the fragrance.
However, I can't perceive the listed pepper note at all.
Towards the end, it becomes a bit "drier" and woodier.
Still, a certain citrus note remains.
That's really well done!
I would definitely categorize this fragrance in the unisex segment, and the performance of the scent is also completely fine.
