Freshly cut pine and Acqua di Giò
David Beckham True Instinct (or "Pulsing Instinct" in some regions) is a woody, aquatic and aromatic fragrance. It's basicly like a softwood forest version of Armani Acqua di Giò, and because of woodiness and greenness, leaning towards Acqua di Giò Profumo (or Parfum, nowadays).
Pine needle oil and freshly cut pine can be smelled from the beginning. Not listed, but the sea note is there. Vetiver in the base and I'd say patchouli and incense too. It's all blended quite smoothly and it smells modern, but doesn't take Sauvage/Invictus route. What a great smell!
Not a heavy projector but lasts to satisfaction, which is something that I've not experienced before with David Beckham fragrances. Although not the most original fragrance, I think this is the best David Beckham! The prices have been creeping up though, it's 36 EUR for 50ml bottle here where I live. But I actually think it's worth the money. Look out for discounts, I got my 50ml bottle for 23 EUR.
