Fragrances that Japanese people dislike
Woody floral. Plum is the key scent.
I was told it's a bit of an unusual scent, but it's a very ordinary scent. It's not a plum scent. Well, it's a patchouli and vanilla with a hint of floral scent. It's a patchouli, vetiver, and vanilla scent that perfume lovers have probably smelled tens of thousands of times, and it's similar to Sabon's Oneg. It's like a clean version of the wolf package of the Jean-Claude Ellena series. It's gourmand like candy, with a hint of caramel. It doesn't have a particularly strong personality. The story of this scent is interesting, and the sales clerk said it was her least favorite scent. Her favorite is YUI. When I asked her why she didn't like RIN, she said, "It smells a bit naughty, like a blonde foreigner" (OMG). Wait a minute, isn't that rude? No, but it's not. Japanese people can't get used to "oriental notes" like patchouli and vanilla at all. Oriental? Japanese people are not oriental. Oriental notes are not Japanese scents. (Why oriental? Where is the Orient? lol) I guess she imagined a "western" and sexy pin-up girl. But for me it's not sexy at all, and it's "girly" compared to Tom Ford and other promotions and scents that blatantly "sexy". Well, this is a Japanese feeling. I don't hate this scent. But in the West or Middle East it will sound like a "joke weak scent". They'll say "too weak, waste of money".
But I don't think Beast Mode is necessarily for everyone.
