Freshly showered into summer a game of expectation

Out of boredom in the Müller strolling around I met the Wood range on the lowest shelf of the back corner. Addressed by the packaging I grabbed a test strip to find out what is in the minimalist but pretty bottle.
And was surprised at first.... THE PRICE FOR THAT?!
By itself, the perfume smells really good like cranberry and shower gel, but the expectation of wood and red fruit is not fulfilled at all. It is for me somehow more a body spray than anything else. Certainly good for very hot weather, sports or at work.
As a deodorant or body spray, the thing would certainly be a hit with many people.
Well, long story short I have weeks later the fragrance by chance STRONGLY reduced found on the Internet equal to slammed. It is now one of my favorite "uncomplicated fragrances".
The UVP is the part because of the low durability and the arbitrariness of no case worth

Since Red Wood, I can hear colors and smell movies

"How much shower gel are we gonna put in our perfume?"

"Yes."

This is how I imagine the meeting about the concept idea of Red Wood, when the perfumer and 4 soaps sat in the office and decided: enough shower gel is not enough for us.

About the top note: The unfolding of the fragrance in the first few seconds strongly reminds me of a film from 2015 called "The Avalanche". The only difference is: While the film begins quietly and slowly as well as cautiously tries to build a bond with the viewer, the top note of Red Wood mercilessly overruns every olfactory cell with a synthetic avalanche of shower gel.

The heart note: After the catastrophe, the anaesthetized odour molecules, which were not taken along by the olfactory avalanche, reveal a new, sour note that has not been so common before: shower gel. Sensory enhancers should generally be used with caution. I don't know about the sniff of the Red Wood. However, I have the feeling that the world of smells is turning.

About the base note: While the last olfactory cells in my olfactory bulb play the title melody of Tetris in the orchestral version, my olfactory perception is in a state that is beyond good and evil. At the end remains a bleak, synthetic shower gel jungle in 80s retro synthwave style. Everything flashes, everything shines. Everything shower gel.

The secret: I can see here what the perfumer has cleverly tried to incorporate unobtrusively. A very special and secret hidden fragrance: Shower Gel
I'm not quite sure if I can hear colors or smell movies since Red Wood. But something has definitely changed since Red Wood.

Red Shower

Actually, I was just looking at this scent here to check if my nose was okay. And it is. In the previous descriptions, it was called Almdudler, red fruit jelly and plum brandy. The descriptions are delicious and absolutely true, but the scent is unfortunately anything but delicious. I just thought of red fizz. With me it did not last long. Let's see if the "plastic cedar" still finds friends. After earlier "Wood" scents were so hyped, I expected more.
