The dude with a rose between his teeth
I bought Skulls & Roses for Him strictly for the bottle, not really caring what the fragrance was like. I finally decided to try it after having quite a few chuckles at the expense of the dude with a rose between his teeth. What a pleasant surprise! Skulls & Roses is a smooth, almost velvety, lavender heavy scent. I have Montblanc Legend EdP and the two are quite similar, almost redundant. However, given the low price, Skulls & Roses is worth it just for the bottle.
The scent is very versatile, just like Legend. As far as performance goes, Legend EdP is better there. Skulls & Roses would be good as a lighter fragrance where you want to be more conservative with the sillage and projection. No slouch with longevity, I got about 5 and a half hours out of it. Overall nice scent, crazy bottle and well worth the price.
Tip: to easily remove the skull top (which forms the cap) do not lift it straight off, rotate it.
