a good alternative
I don’t know who started the rumour that Millesime Imperial has a melon note in it. It really does not.
Not even listed on the official Greed website.
Anyway. This Extreme version seems to contain some melon juice. I really do get some wet, yummie fruity notes. Blackcurrant-ish something too. Especially in the opening. Along with the citruses. They are pretty obvious. Might be called sweet-fresh.
Later the Iris becomes stronger and the frag becomes a soothing, relaxing sensation. Freshness mostly gone. Some saltiness arrives too. This part lasts for at least 10 hours.
Never got to the pure dry-down so far. I needed to have a shower before that.
It is not the exact Millesime Imperial (from 10 years ago). But since Greed produces highly different batches - this one Easily could be an official release.
The only thing I really miss from this, is the high-quality musc used by Greed. I think the original version is lost forever. Sad.
So, I am somewhat satisfied with the purchase. The ladies seems to like it, very much so. Comforting, fine, they say.
Remark on longevity: got in a friend’s car 6-7 hours after spraying. Sprayed only on body, not on clothes, yet, my friend could smell it heavily in the car 12 hours after our short drive.
Maybe the Intense version is optimal for summer.
