Gekochter Reis to go

Urlaub in der Provence, perfekt um sich mal wieder einem selbstauferlegten Parfum No-buy zu ergeben. Dachte ich. In dem kleinen Dorf Sault befindet sich das la Maison Jaune in dessen Schaufenster die gesamte Elisire Kollektion steht. Ehe ich mich versah war ich 160€ ärmer und ein Parfum reicher.. toll. Hat ja super geklappt.

Das Parfum riecht in den ersten 30 min fotorealistisch wie frisch gekochter Jasmin Reis mit Kokosmilch, auch wenn diese nicht in den Duftnoten vorkommt. Nach circa einer Stunde ist vor allem die Reisnote und das Sandelholz deutlich zu riechen, was dem Parfum eine wunderbare Cremigkeit verleiht. Diese Duftkombination bleibt mehrere Stunden genau so bestehen. Florale Noten rieche ich nicht heraus, es ist ein wunderbarer Duft für den Sommer und für alle, die schon immer einen Reisduft haben wollten, der lange anhält.
Die Haltbarkeit auf der Haut beträgt circa 10 Stunden, wobei es nach ungefähr 5 Stunden schon eher ein Hautduft wird und die Duftwolke um einen herum nachlässt.
Ein wunderbarer Duft, den ich so noch nie zuvor gerochen habe. Chapeau!

Nutty lemon cake

This Extrait Blanc is totally different from what I thought about.
As soon as I sprayed it, I smelled a lemon cake with hazelnuts
For an untrained nose (c'est moi) what I smell citrousy, is actually ginger. So a very fresh breath, but at the same time accompanied by a sweet and very woody note—I feel like hazelnut. But after 15-20 minutes, i smell a pleasant powdery scent that reminds me such steam cooked rice.
In the background there is always a peppery but not aggressive note.
It remains for me a sweet, woody and powdery fragrance with a nice fresh and slightly pungent flicker.
As time goes by I don't perceive any evolution, But what certainly surprise me is its power and its duration.. definitely far beyond my expectations.
It maintains a solid, important structure, from the beginning to its drying, for many hours.
So.. if you are looking for a skinscent, a safe blind buy, it could be a gamble.
It doesn't remind me of any particular perfume (certainly anything but Blanche Bete which belongs to another galaxy)

I don't understand you.

What is it? In which direction does this fragrance want to go? What is it supposed to tell us?
The ginger start is awesome. Really authentic, spicy, tangy.
And everything that follows leaves me with question marks.

It smells like bread crust for a few seconds! Then it becomes sweet. Notes of popcorn are added. Lemon too - but not summery fresh; the lemon cake variety. But also somehow lemon cleaner.

And that's how the scent stays with me: lemon cleaner with popcorn. Such a hipster thing. Vegan and all.

Phew, it's everything and nothing. I don't understand the scent!

I wouldn't actually wear it. Not even as a trial.
Nevertheless, I have to say that I think it's kind of brave to put something like this on the market.

But no, he can go on.

Clean incense

The fragrance starts with an intense, dense blend of ginger and verbena. The citrusy note of amyris adds a little sparkle.

The tuberose and pepper in the heart give the fragrance a nice incense touch, I also perceive a softly resonating teen note throughout.

In the drydown, the whole thing becomes very creamy and clean without being a "fresh laundry fragrance". Very special fragrance profile. I have and know nothing comparable. Definitely worth a test.

Can't understand all the negative reviews, by no means a gourmand for me.

... stinky Poppi or what. It smells like old, stale popcorn dipped in stale ashtray water and then tried to save it with a fresh scent. It didn't work! I wouldn't really dare go out with this fragrance, but gourmand is not my thing either.
