A Gift Horse Goes Under the Skin
So to start, my sister gifted me this fragrance ages ago, back when I had zero interest in perfumes :D
At first, you really catch a strong whiff of bergamot and apple, which gives it a bit of an air freshener vibe. It's not a very captivating opening, but it's not unpleasant either. After that, it turns into a homogeneous mix of freshness, subtle sharpness, and somehow that’s about it. I have a bit of an association with freshly washed laundry. Maybe that’s why it feels like a jeans style? :D
It sounds crazy, but it somewhat reminds me of the table corners in Chinese restaurants. They often have that special wood-plastic-fabric-fresh scent that is very, very subtle and clean. I would say it’s like those big round tables with a rotating center that are covered with some kind of PVC marble imitation when they’ve just been freshly cleaned. Yep, that’s it. Not unpleasant, but who wants to smell like that? And then it quickly fades in intensity.
Interestingly, after half an hour, it becomes more intense again. I don’t know who lit the little NOS bottle, but now it’s stepping on the gas again. Unfortunately, only the fresh scent is now more pronounced, mixed with a bit of sweet wood.
Overall, unfortunately a disappointing fragrance, but I will cherish it as a gift from my little sister back when I was still young. And I’ll spray it every now and then when I feel a bit homesick.
